Dear Dr. Pagano,
I am writing in an attempt to
express my gratitude for your help. For many,
many years I felt a slave to my drinking habit.
This habit did not seem to fit the mold of
alcoholism; it was more like a ritual that
having been performed for so many years became
as natural as having breakfast every morning.
When I came to you, I was full
of hope, yet never dreamed that I would be
able to change so quickly. The tools that
I came away with from my sessions with you,
are helpful in other areas of my life, and
will be useful forever. My life is so much
fuller now; it feels like a grand adventure.
Rather than sitting at home each night sedating
myself with wine, I am out joining clubs,
taking classes, and meeting new people.
