Dear
Dr. Pagano:
I
should probably be writing this letter in
a couple of months when it's closer to Thanksgiving.
Because, if there's one thing I'm thankful
for this year, it's that I found you when
I did. I can't imagine how bad I might still
be feeling if your hypnosis techniques had
not been so successful.
You
may recall that I came to you this summer
suffering from panic attacks following a claustrophobic
incident on an airplane. Little did I realize
that my condition was not just due to the
airplane ride, but was brought on by other
stress factors in my life. Thanks to you, I
was able to understand and control the anxiety
that was being triggered by those other factors.
In fact, I was astonished that the positive
results happened so quickly.
After
just a few sessions, I started to feel like
my old self again. And, considering the extremely
anxious state that I was in when I first came
to you, I considered my quick recovery somewhat
of a miracle. I had never had anything effect
my life like that before. But, I remember
being totally consumed by anguish before you
treated me….not able to sleep, or concentrate,
or relax.
My
future seemed like a frightening question
mark. I had been prescribed Xanax by an emergency
room physician and my own doctor wanted to
put me on Zoloft, an anti-depressant. Not
being a fan of taking mood altering drugs,
I was so thankful when you were able to cure
me in a manner that was extremely effective,
yet didn't force me to take drugs.
At
first, I'll admit that I was somewhat cynical
about hypnosis. However, your reassuring manner
and your professionalism soon convinced me
that I was in very capable hands. Today, I'm
free of the anxiety that was plaguing me and
I owe you a huge debt of gratitude.
I
just wanted to let you know what a positive
impact you have had on my life. I'll always
be grateful. Thank you so much!
Sincerely,
Mr.R. Bishop
